‘At Home’

Last week we filmed the first episode of our upcoming mini-series, ‘At Home’ and we can’t wait to share it with you.

In this series we share with you, our favourite country homes that have history, meaning and of course concrete!

‘Wadenhoe’ which means home on a hill. In this project concrete featured in the kitchen island, back benchtops and the master ensuite. This project commenced in 2022 and was an extension of the original homestead that was built over 100 years ago. The clients added an open plan living, kitchen, dining and a master bedroom suite.

The kitchen island benchtop is solid concrete and is in in our colour ‘Arctic’ it measured over 4M long, the largest piece of concrete we have poured so far. This concrete island was poured off site and all in one piece. Cabinetry was completed by local joiners ABR kitchens. The splashback tile from Kalafrana Ceramics in Sydney, ilve oven from Riverina HomeBase Wagga Wagga.

The integrated vanity in the master ensuite was in our colour ‘Blue Gum’. The client’s favourite colour is green and this colour features heavily in the ensuite. Paired with gold tapware and a timber vanity, all from Reece. Right outside the ensuite door you can see rolling hills which heavily influenced the interior bathroom selections. I love how the green in here gives a nod to nature.

We will be sharing the video of ‘Wadenhoe’ in the coming weeks so stay tuned to our social pages to see, I think you’ll love this one.
